Melissa Banczak is a former literary agent who specialized in screenplays. When her boss retired and the agency closed, she turned to films, working as a camerawoman and writer on documentaries, PSAs, short films, two solicited tv pilots that failed to find a network, and one feature film, Finley Wade. After a decade of insane hours and a stomach-turning gig filming a Javelina’s leg amputation , she started writing adventure novels featuring women who always end up in the wrong place at the right time. Currently, she resides in Florida where she’s a reasonable driving distance to the magic in Orlando. When she’s not writing, she and her husband run half marathons. Slowly.
